How PASI was established
It began with a simple conviction: opportunity must be planted where hope is ready to grow.
PASI was established in 2007 from a desire to build a bridge between students, institutions, and communities across Africa. The idea was never only to travel. It was to prepare young people to listen, serve, lead, and understand that education becomes powerful when it is connected to people.
Since then, PASI has continued to plant seeds through scholarships, service-learning trips, school support, leadership development, and community partnerships. Every program is shaped around one question: how can this experience help students grow while honoring the communities they are learning from?
We do not just send students across the ocean. We help them cross into deeper purpose.
